An event for 2600 people !

Lafayette Paris planned and organized two evening events for one of its German clients. This was the opportunity for us to showcase our expertise in pure event planning. Both evenings were taking place in the quite new Hall 7 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles. We provided lighting and sound, décor as well as various artists for both evenings; the client expecting over 2 500 guests per evening.

Each evening was a themed one. For the first evening, we recreated the « Paris Districts » within the hall. In order to do that, we divided the whole space into four zones: Zone Montmartre, Zone Montaigne, Zone Jardin des Tuileries, Zone Saint Germain des Prés. Thus, guests could get and experience the Parisian atmosphere within the venue. Décor and artists located within each zone were obviously linked to the zone itself. For example, in Zone Montmartre, we got the chance to have Iya Traoré, a street footballer who became quite famous for his performances in Montmartre. Walking around, guests could jump into caricaturists, silhouetists, a Jazz Trio, Titis Parisiens, a speed painting performance, and even a pétanque game (so French and adequate for the Zone Jardins des Tuileries)!

For the second evening, the theme was « Color Games ». On the same spirit of dividing the whole space, we created four color zones: White Zone, Orange Zone, Purple Zone and Green Zone. Décor and Artists were once again linked to each zone. But we also tried to mix the theme with a high-tech touch as well, so we provided artists such as Luminous Artists on stilts, Dancers in Bubbles, Digital DJ…

Two successful events for Lafayette Paris! We already can’t wait to plan more events like these again!
